Chile.The Hruska has over 23 years experience in the areas of crop protection, pest management, pesticide management, international instruments and agreements related to sanitary and phytosanitary measures.
has worked and lived in Panama, Chile, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica. Before joining FAO he held in Zamorano, CARE, the Agrarian University of Nicaragua, was Regional Coordinator for a project of the Swiss and was Executive Director NicaSalud, a federation of 25 NGOs.
holds a doctorate in entomology and economics from the University of North Carolina State, USA, Master Duke Unviersity, USA, and bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Michigan. He has authored over fifty publications and has given more than one hundred international presentations.
